A Cherished Music Teacher & Mentor 🌟
This photo is of my precious mother "Laura Downs" and me on Christmas Day 2025 — a moment of love, strength, and family that I will always cherish!
Unfortunately, on Saturday, December 20th, she fell and fractured her back, two locations in her spine and was hospitalized.
She underwent a procedure to repair the fractures, and by God’s grace she was released on Christmas Eve — so she didn’t have to spend Christmas in the hospital. We are truly grateful. 🙏
It was a Christmas Miracle that she was able to be released from the hospital to come home to be with us for Christmas!
My mother will turn 90 years old on January 19, 2026, and she urgently needs our prayers and financial support.
For over 35 years, she has been a joyful music teacher, teaching piano and organ at the same location "Up 'N Down Tempos" in Orange City, Florida — touching countless lives with her talent, her heart, and her dedication.
However, her recovery has been slow and difficult, and she’s not yet able to return to her music studio for several weeks.
This has put her in an incredibly fragile financial situation — one that is now threatening her ability to pay her basic bills.
